Pretty Ghost

Hey, you've been bothering me these days
I’m beginning to see your face when you’re not around
You been doing just what you do, it’s the same as I’ve done too again and again
Hey, It's about time to pull your punch
I know when I’ve had enough, cause I’ve done the same
You're saying I'll get mine, but they’ll rob you blind
I’m her next mistake, and she’ll be mine
You’ve distracted me, all through the night
I just can't help feeling, this is gonna hurt
There in the corner of my eye
A pretty ghost with a lullaby, reels me in
Burn, even though this feeling fades
It cuts like razor blades on my tongue
You're saying I'll get mine, but they’ll rob you blind
I’m her next mistake, and she’ll be mine
You’ve distracted me, all through the night
I just can't help feeling, this is gonna hurt
I like you but I hate it
You like me and you hate it
I like you and you hate me
You like me and I hate me
I like you but I hate you
You like me and you hate you
You hate me and I hate myself
You're saying I'll get mine, but they’ll rob you blind
I’m her next mistake, and she’ll be mine
You’ve distracted me, all through the night
I just can't help feeling, that this is gonna hurt

Badge Bruiser

You took your tiny badge like a hit to the head
Too high to help the ones to help the ones you serve
I've got little money in the bank, and holes in both my shoes
But still I feel more whole than you
Next time there won't be a next time
I’ll find my own way to laugh it off leave it all behind
I’m starting to realize you just gave me half a reason to smack that look off of your face
Stå till tjänst, en tjänsteman
Bakom disken, kikar fram
Lägger ägg i andras bo
Slår sig sedan ned till ro
Next time there won't be a next time
I’ll find my own way to laugh it off leave it all behind
I’m starting to realize you just gave me half a reason to smack that look off of your face

High Rise Vultures
04:25
|
|||
I wanna dress you up, head, heart and helmet
Put a stop to what's been going on
Maybe I’ll keep moving, travelling, soothing
You shift and dodge like a crow in the street
I wanna race you, love you and hate you
Finally collect my rag and bone
Maybe we’ll fall asleep to the sound of high rise vultures
As we gaze west towards home
Gaze west towards home, Gaze west towards home…
Gaze west towards home, Gaze west towards home…
Let's weigh our hearts, with two fingers on the scale
Try to forget all the lies we told
We’ll speak of magic pressed from flower petals
Wake up old and new again
You always like to watch the crying phantoms
Their tears spread thin on our crops
But maybe we’ll fall asleep to the sound of high rise vultures
Gaze west towards home
Gaze west towards home, Gaze west towards home…
Gaze west towards home, Gaze west towards home…

Red Canvas
03:20
|

Just take another sip, another night, another red light
Just fake another win, you’ll bite your cheek but it never phased you before
I don’t know where this bus will go
I just hope it gets lost out on the road
It drifts between the pines and orange cones
While I’m asleep on my canvas throne
I'm never scared of being wrong
Cause I’m here and it feels alright
I haven't heard my voice
I’m just counting my scars
We’ll ford that river cause I haven't got the coin
And by my word we’ll make to the other side
Two days ago I bought my ticket home, left you in the promised land
I didn't notice then but I left a mark, broke your love in my hands
I'm never scared
I cannot hear my voice
I’m just counting my scars
